2010 5 by Peugeot Concept

5 BY PEUGEOT CONCEPT

After SR1, Leo reveals another facet of his immediate future with the concept "5 by Peugeot". A study suggesting that the future will be 508 expected by the end of the year.

Pending more information tomorrow morning, here are the first items on this concept with an unusual name. "5 by Peugeot" probably 508 to celebrate the future and the return of the Lion in a hundred who has had some memorable models, starting with the legendary 504 (sedan and coupe) and the newer 505.

With 4.86 m long, the "5 by Peugeot" is given in all cases the means of its ambitions and yields only 4 cm to 607. A personable found also at its general appearance, very statutory and less ostentatious than the outrageous 407.

However, the dynamism is no exception and is markedly more than the 607. A mix of genres rather successful if one relies on the first pictures provided by the Lion, with the added recovery of the brand new signing on interview York Return already SR1 concept .

The interior remains secret for now and should bring a little touch of madness showcar to an already very successful. Including terms of motorization.

With the 508, but mechanical point of delirium an idea more precisely what should be the future PSA blocks: all-wheel drive combining HYbrid4 Diesel 2.0 HDi 163 hp at the front, and electric motor of 37 hp (27 kW) driving the rear wheels. A total of 200 hp entirely credible for a statutory model.

This power is accompanied by a consumption figures and emissions of carbon dioxide are quite remarkable: 3.8 l/100 km and 99 g / km CO 2.

The Concept "5 by Peugeot" will be unveiled in preview at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, while the future Peugeot 508 will have it, the honors of the Mondial de lAutomobile in Paris in 2010, in October.
