2014 Ford Mustang,  Last week at the New York Auto Show I couldnt get J Mays to talk about the new Mustang at all. His PR folks had him on a total gag order. We do know that the next Mustang will be a bit smaller, have IRS, and its probably not a stretch to say it will be a more modern looking car that borrows some of the design language seen in other recent Ford vehicles. But Michael Ramsey at the Wall Street Journal is predicting a fairly radical departure from the retro-theme Mustangs we have been seeing recently, and and says it will be designed to appeal to a younger audience (the average age of a Mustang buyer is 51). Will it look like the Evos concept below? Time will tell.

 In a move certain to elicit praise from muscle car fans with kids—and perhaps an equally huge outcry from automotive purists with a fondness for coupes—Ford Motor Company has announced plans to introduce a sedan variant of the Ford Mustang. With sales of rivals, especially the Chevrolet Camaro, eating into Ford’s share of the pony car segment, the Dearborn automaker has decided to take a radical new approach by introducing this 4-door offering in 2014.

The horsepower battle that has been raging between Ford and Chevy recently culminated in the 650-bhp Ford Mustang GT500 and 550-bhp Camaro ZL1. During the 2012 New York Auto Show, a 1000-bhp Mustang, the Shelby 1000, will be on display. While this kind of firepower is impressive for drag-strip figures, these ultimate speed machines make up only a tiny sliver of sales output.

Strength Through Numbers
Ford representatives explained that the addition of two doors makes the Mustang more user-friendly, and its spacious back seat will make the car appeal to an entirely new type of buyer. The benefit, at least from Ford’s point of view, will be a noticeable boost in sales output for the ‘Stang. Even though the Mustang will no longer be such a narrowly focused niche product aimed at enthusiasts, the new Mustang sedan will offer much the same performance as its coupe sibling.

The ride and handling balance will undoubtedly lean toward comfort, if only because of the added length and expected weight gain. The 2014 Ford Mustang sedan is approximately 11 in. longer than the coupe, though the extra length is balanced by shorter front doors and a significantly reworked C-pillar. While a Boss 302 sedan like the one pictured is not all that likely, Ford reps have confirmed that even more changes could be in store for the Mustang.

A hybrid-powered variant, or possibly even a diesel version, could be introduced to increase the Mustang’s hitherto dismal ratings when it comes to fuel efficiency. The move might sound drastic, but stricter fuel economy regulations could force the muscle car and pony car market into even more unfamiliar territory. And think of all that torque!

2011 Ford F 150 SVT Raptor

2013 Ford Explorer Sport Price Starts at 40 720

From September, the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport is available at U.S. dealerships, its exercise price is $40,720.

The sporty and luxurious top model of Explorer - series uses a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine, which has an output of 365 hp. Compared to the V8 engines of the competition, the new Ford engine consumes substantially less for the same driving pleasure.

In addition to the lively engine, the Explorer Sport also extensive standard equipment from the factory, which includes, among other things, a 2-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats with heating, a rearview camera and a Sony premium audio system with HD radio and 12 speakers.

Ford is watching for an amazing part of the Detroit Auto Show, and jump-start their presence with the launch of two new variants of the 2012 Ford C-MAX: 2012 Ford C-Max Energi Concept and C-Max Hybrid.

Most of the goodies found on the European version will make their way over here. Engine choices include a base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the all-new 1.6-liter EcoBoost in-line four is being offered as an upgrade. The former engine will put out 168 horsepower and 167 pound-feet of torque, while the latter has 180 horsepower and 173 pound-feet of torque.

The most interesting story, C-Max Energy with hybrid propulsion plug-ins, though the technology did not like the Chevrolet Volt. But with two motors and batteries to support from the Atkinson-cycle engine, the driver can cover the distance over 750 km. With the help MyFord Mobile software can be monitored when the battery energy to be filled again.

Both the C-Max Hybrid and Energi will be built alongside the standard C-Max at Fords Michigan Assembly Plant starting in 2012, with European models being built in Valencia, Spain starting in 2013. FORD SUPER DUTY F - 350

A glance at the new Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x2 Regular Cab 2012 for sale at Montmorency Ford and you will be dazzled. We have completely redesigned the F-350 Super Duty 4x2 Regular Cab and the results are striking. We paid special attention to each line of the body, forward to the powerful, athletic Super Duty-inspired to small details like the brand new monogram. The result? The new Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x2 Regular Cab shows as much assurance as you have behind the wheel.
 

This new standard engine brings 385 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque to the F-250 - an improvement of 85 horsepower and 40 lb-ft of torque. Engines will no longer be mated to a five-speed automatic, as that transmission has been replaced with a new six-speed SelectShift automatic.
Also gone for the latest truck is the short-lived 6.4-liter diesel engine, replaced with an all-new, in-house designed Scorpion 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel. This new range-topping engine produces 400 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of earth-moving torque - an improvement of 50 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque compared to the diesel engine it replaces.

The all-new diesel will be mated to an all-new TorqShift heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission. Ford says this new transmission is more durable, allows for increased power and torque with its SelectShift Automatic feature. Ford has also developed a unique Live Drive PTO (Power Take Off) functionality that is a segment first and class-exclusive.
The PTO will be available on diesels only, and allows for an output gear that is linked through the torque converter to the engine crankshaft. this will allow the transmission to power substantial auxiliary equipment such as snowplows, aerial lifts, tow truck lifts, cement mixers and dump truck beds.

The F-350 SRW has a maximum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 11,500 lbs, while maximum payload capacity equals 4,100 lbs. When equipped with a fifth wheel, the F-350 SRW can pull as much as 16,500 lbs with the diesel, and as much as 15,700 lbs with the gas engine.
Switching to the F-350 dual-rear wheel setup will boost those figures across the board. GVWR raises to 13,000 lbs, and max payload jumps to 6,520 lbs. Fifth-wheel towing also jumps to 21,600 lbs.
Four trim levels of the F-350 Super Duty exist, starting from the XL, to the XLT,Lariat and King Ranch.

 

The standard cab has a seating capacity of three occupants abreast, and there is the SuperCab and Crew Cab as options, both of which offer five or six seats, depending on if the front bench seat is ordered. The latter obviously does it in more comfort, and features power windows that go all the way down into the door. Buyers also get a choice of 6.75- or 8-foot long boxes on all but the Regular Cab, which only gets the long box.
If one options up the Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) model, they only get it with an 8-foot box. Four wheel drive is optional across the range.
